Cabinet Secretary co-chairs the Kenya-Gulf Joint Commission in Dubai

The Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs co-chaired a session of the Joint Commission advancing trade, investment and labour mobility.

The Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs co-chaired a session of the Kenya-Gulf Joint Commission in Dubai, advancing cooperation on trade, investment, tourism and the welfare of Kenyan workers in the region.

The session reviewed progress on labour mobility frameworks designed to protect Kenyans abroad, and explored new openings for Kenyan goods, services and skilled professionals across Gulf markets. Both sides committed to faster implementation of agreed measures and to a predictable environment for investors.

The Consulate General in Dubai supported the engagement and reaffirmed its role in serving the large Kenyan community across the Northern Emirates.
