At a fourth international conference on trafficking in persons, Kenya restated its commitment to protect victims, disrupt smuggling networks and deepen cross-border cooperation.

Kenya reaffirmed its commitment to ending trafficking in persons at the fourth international conference on the issue, underlining the protection of victims and the prosecution of trafficking and smuggling networks.

The Ministry stressed that safeguarding Kenyans abroad is a core pillar of the country’s foreign policy, and called for stronger cross-border cooperation, safe and legal migration pathways, and support for survivors.
