The Ministry of Foreign & Diaspora Affairs has issued a statement reaffirming Kenya’s steadfast commitment to peace, dialogue and stability in the region. Kenya continues to support inclusive, locally owned processes that protect civilians and uphold international humanitarian law.
The statement called on all parties to exercise restraint, to pursue political solutions and to keep open the channels necessary for humanitarian access. Kenya stands ready to support mediation efforts within the framework of regional bodies and the African Union.
The Ministry reaffirmed that regional stability is essential to shared prosperity and to the safety of all communities, including Kenyans living and working across the region.
