Updated travel advisory for Kenyans in a region of heightened risk

· Worldwide· Ministry of Foreign & Diaspora Affairs

The Ministry has updated its travel guidance for Kenyans living in and travelling to an affected region. Register with your nearest mission.

The Ministry of Foreign & Diaspora Affairs has updated its travel guidance for Kenyans living in and travelling to an affected region, following a review of prevailing security and entry conditions. Kenyans are advised to monitor official channels and to exercise heightened caution.

Kenyans in the affected region are urged to register with their nearest Kenyan mission so they can be reached and supported, to keep travel documents current, and to maintain contact with family at home. The 24/7 consular emergency line remains available for Kenyans in distress abroad.

The advisory will be reviewed regularly. Kenyans should rely only on official Ministry and mission communications for guidance, and should report emergencies to their nearest mission without delay.
