Firearms permit

Members must comply with the Firearms Act (Cap. 114) by obtaining a firearms permit for any arm, ammunition or armoured vehicle they possess or intend to acquire. Applications are made to the Chief of Protocol through IPMIS.

How it works

  1. 1Apply for the firearms permit on IPMIS, addressed to the Chief of Protocol.
  2. 2Protocol processes the application under the Firearms Act.
  3. 3The permit is issued; arms or ammunition held at the airport are released on production of a valid permit.
