Replace a lost, stolen or damaged passport

If your passport is lost or stolen, report it and apply for a replacement on eCitizen. If you must travel urgently, an Emergency Travel Document may be issued instead.

What to bring

  • A police report where the passport was lost or stolen
  • Your national ID or a copy of the lost passport
  • Proof of the eCitizen fee payment

How it works

  1. 1Report the loss to the local police and obtain a report.
  2. 2Apply for a replacement on eCitizen and pay the fee.
  3. 3Attend your mission for biometrics.
  4. 4Collect the replacement, or request an Emergency Travel Document if you must travel first.
