Exercise increased caution due to high levels of crime in some urban areas. Tourism and business travel continue normally.

South Africa is a popular destination for Kenyan tourists, students and business travellers, with well-developed infrastructure. The Ministry advises increased caution, mainly regarding crime in some urban districts and after dark.

Most visits are trouble-free. Safeguard valuables, use reputable transport, and register with the High Commission in Pretoria for longer stays.
