Reconsider travel to South Sudan due to armed conflict, crime and inter-communal violence, which are worse outside Juba.

The Ministry advises Kenyans to reconsider non-essential travel to South Sudan, where armed conflict, crime and inter-communal violence persist, particularly outside the capital, Juba.

Kenya maintains close ties and a mission in Juba, but consular capacity in remote areas is limited. Register with the Embassy, travel with trusted contacts, and monitor official channels.
